Pharmaceutical packaging · Algiers

Every statement in its place.Every box readable.

A medicine carton carries more than twenty statements, in Arabic and a foreign language, on a few centimetres. We design your cartons, leaflets and labels so that everything is accurate, readable and consistent from one strength to the next, based on the texts validated by your responsible pharmacist.

The real problem

One error on a cartonrecalls a whole batch.

In pharmacy, packaging isn’t just a shop window: it informs, identifies and protects the patient. A misplaced statement or a confused strength costs more than a reprint.

Statements

Twenty statements on one carton

The order of 14 February 2021 lists the statements for the carton, the primary packaging and the leaflet of imported medicines. Space runs out quickly.

Languages

Two languages, one truth

Statements appear in Arabic and in a foreign language used in Algeria. Any difference between the two versions is an error.

Range

The strength that gets confused

Two strengths that look too alike get confused at the counter. Colours, hierarchy and codes distinguish each product.

Change

The unanticipated change

ANPP notes provide for statements to be brought into compliance at registration renewals and variations. Better to have a system ready to evolve.

What you get

Frequently asked questions

Before you write to us,straight answers.

Which statements must a medicine carton carry?

For imported medicines, article 13 of the order of 14 February 2021 (Official Journal no. 15 of 2 March 2021) lists them: brand name, INN, form, strength and contents, excipients with known effect, warnings, storage conditions, marketing authorisation holder and manufacturer, registration number, batch, manufacturing and expiry dates, barcode identifier, among others. For local production, they follow from your registration decision and ANPP notes.

In which languages?

In Arabic and in a foreign language used in Algeria, in visible, easily readable and indelible characters. Both versions must carry the same information.

What must the leaflet contain?

Article 14 of the same order lists, among others, indications, dosage, contraindications, interactions, side effects, what to do in case of overdose, storage conditions and the text’s revision date. We turn it into a readable bilingual layout, folded for the carton.

Do you guarantee regulatory compliance?

No: the regulatory content is the responsibility of your responsible pharmacist and your registration decision. Our role is to lay it out accurately, readably and consistently, and to flag any inconsistency spotted during review.

And for medical devices?

They have their own statements (article 18 of the order for imported products), depending on their category: designation, approval number, sterilisation method, batch or serial number, certification body, among others.

Can you rework an existing range?

Yes. We start from your current packaging, build a shared grid and update the products at the pace of your renewals and registration variations.

Will my project stay confidential?

Yes. We can sign a non-disclosure agreement before any detailed discussion about your products.
