The board that shouldn’t have touched the cake
Grease seeps through paper and takes the inks with it. Decree 16-299 requires an inert material, designed for contact with food.
Food-contact packaging (in French) →Food packaging · Algiers
A biscuit, a coffee, a jam or a sauce: the packaging must protect, inform and sell, without ever compromising what it contains. We design your boxes, sachets, cartons and labels with the right materials, the right information and Arabic in its proper place.
The real problem
A missing statement can block an entire batch, and reprinting ten thousand labels costs more than proofreading them twice.

Food-contact packaging (in French) →Decree 13-378 lists the statements for pre-packaged foodstuffs. Forget just one, and the batch stays in the warehouse.
The statements one by one (in French) →Law 09-03 makes Arabic the main language of the label. An allergen flagged in French but not in Arabic is a defect.
Choosing an Arabic typeface (in French) →Batch and dates change with every production. We keep a blank area for them, printed on the packing line.
GS1 barcodes in Algeria (in French) →What you get
The right material for the food, the right structure for the sales channel, the right graphics for the shelf.
Biscuits, chocolates, tea, pastry: the box that protects, stacks well on the shelf and makes people want to open it.
Coffee, spices, dried fruit: the right barrier against moisture, oxygen and light, with a front that sells.
Jams, honey, sauces, drinks: a material that withstands the fridge and handling, with every statement in place.
A grid, colours by flavour or format: every new product is rolled out without redrawing everything.
The carton that protects during transport and is recognisable on the pallet or when the parcel is opened.
Materials validated with the supplier, suitable inks, proof reviewed, first units checked.
How it works
The material is chosen before the graphics, and the statements are proofread before the BAT: in that order, nothing has to be redone.
